LaBelle's Sire was Korbell AHR*86024, (G-1972), his dam LAYYA AHR*4208, Desert Bred was never imported to the US. Korbel's sire FADJ AHR*22070 by FADJUR AHR*2603 traces to the grand dam MAHROUSSA EGYPT*115.

NATURE'S BALLET - 1968 EHRA #4894 (Reg. Canadian Trotting Horse Assoc.) was sired by NATOURSCHIK; Grand Champion Orlov, Russia 1959 and presented by Nikita Khrushchev to Cyrus Eaton. Nature's Ballet, aka "Blueu" was owned and ridden by Lari Shea and in 1985 held the Stallion record for 5 Tevis 100 Mile Top 10% competitions. Lari rode Blue on the 2000 Mile Bicentennial Horse Race (1976 New York to California) among his numerous other 50 & 100 mile AERC endurance rides and the Levi Ride & Tie race. Blueu - 1983 Tevis at 15 yrs., 16th Place, first Stallion out of 254 entries.

The Russian Orlov was developed from the finest Arabians crossed on Danish Warmbloods. They were bred for style of movement, soundness, stamina with speed and beauty of conformation. They were originally used to race long distance at the trot pulling a "TROIKA," with a heavier strain used as elegant driving horses.

OT Bella Laeka has proven to be the brood mare link to endurance Champions. She produces tremendous bone, stride, strength, P&R recovery, and heart. At just 11 months Bella was jumping vaults by hand command from Lari. She was a natural, bold jumper.

Bella came to the Outlaw Trail ownership (Sharon) in September of 1985. Just before her 2nd birthday Bella took a terrible fall at the hand of a careless ranch helper, which fractured her right hip. After all measures of veterinary care her recovery was with Mother Nature. Bella was bred as a coming 3 year old and with the birth of the foal she recovered from a dragging hind lame to a "bit of a hitch" trot. Knowing that riding for other than pasture pleasure could damage her mobility, she has remained a brood mare and presently 2006, is in foal to OT Dymoni RSI. Bella's get, as listed in our sales list and new owners link on www.outlawtrail.com reflects excellence in endurance.

Other than the slight "glitch" one will notice at her trot, she rules and runs with her family remuda as if she was a yearling. Bella is a very dependable "every other year" mother of beautiful, correct and athletic foals. Her superb instinct of maternal care creates a lasting bond the foals share with their masters.
